I'm behind getting my newsletter out. Mid January brought us much
needed snow in southeast Utah. I wasn't expecting the amount of snow we
received. My husband, just days earlier had rotator cuff surgery. I
learned to operate our tractor and moved snow for a few days. We have
had cold temperatures and snowstorms which makes me appreciate the warm
side of the door!

I want to thank a collector from Tennessee for adding this 10x10 oil
painting of
"The Mittens", an iconic image in Monument Valley, to his collection.
Sometimes having spots of color in a group setting or one painting in a
special area brings the joy of a memorable trip to the southwest!

Grand Shadows
Grand Shadows
The painting of the horse head on the Abajo Mountains in Monticello is
a commissioned painting by a collector. It is stylized and vibrant! A
few more touches of paint and it will be wrapped in a gorgeous float
frame.
The canyon painting casting its shadows is about finished, it needs a
few strokes of vibrant color. The Grand Canyon is so full of shapes and
contrasts.

Handsome Lad
This 20x20 oil on canvas, named "Handsome Lad" is headed to the 42nd
Annual Juried Exhibition in Sedona, Arizona. I enjoyed having him
around the studio for a while, but I was thankful to have him selected
with more than 250 entree's.

have not been set. This will be a preparation for my upcoming two day
